Stewart, BC – Decade Resources Ltd (“Decade” or the Company) announces that it has completed sampling on the Grassy property. The Grassy Claim project extends from the Long lake area to just south of Monitor lake approximately 24 km north of Stewart in the Skeena Mining Division, BC. The claims are located 5 km east of the former Big Missouri mine and 6 km north of the former Premier gold mine. They are also adjacent to the Silver Coin project area.
Work has identified two structures hosting quartz-sulphide that are 30 m apart. The structure which are up to 3 m wide carry quartz with varying amounts of galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite. These structures have been tested by underground exploration in the past as evidenced by tunnels and surface stripping. Of particular interest is the ability to trace these structures over several km of strike length. These were located in the NW portion of the property in an area the Company had not previously explored. The NW trending structures are within rocks that overlie the epithermal deposits on the Big Missouri, Silver Coin and Premier areas.
E. Kruchkowski, President of the Company states: “The results indicate that the property hosts potentially remobilized mineralization from deeper mineralized zones. Photos of the identified structures are attached to show the robust nature of these zones”.
The Company has also extended exploration on the Terrace area properties as well as the Goat claims.
The Company is also looking at further acquisitions in the Golden Triangle area of BC.
The Company is awaiting results of their sampling in the Terrace area and will release once the results are obtained.
Ed Kruchkowski, P. Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, is in charge of the exploration programs on behalf of the Company and is responsible for the contents of this release. E. Kruchkowski is not independent of Decade as he is the president of the Company.
