Intersections of 13.88 g/t gold over 7.5 on Red Cliff Property help indicate Large Mineralized Structure

May 1, 2018

NEWS RELEASE – May 1, 2018

Stewart, BC – Decade Resources Ltd (“Decade”) reports that modeling of 2007 to 2017 drill hole assays on the Montrose zone has been completed into a Leapfrog program. Gold values are related to several different phases of mineralization namely sphalerite-galena-minor chalcopyrite-native gold and chalcopyrite-pyrite-native gold within a north-south trending intrusive. The modeling of assay data is shown on the website with grade shells of 0.5, 1.0 and 5 g/t. gold. This model has shown that the Montrose zone is a plunging structure with at least 600 m of strike length, 400-500 m of height and up to 20 m wide. It is open to depth and along strike. The Montrose zone is part of a large mineralized structure identified over 2.3 km of strike length on the property that has been offset by a fault along Lydden Creek.

The work in 2018 will consist of drilling to expand on the significant results obtained in previous drilling from 2007 to 2017 on the Montrose zone.  Drilling will be conducted on on the Waterpump zone which is interpreted as the south fault extension of the Montrose zone. Highlights of assays obtained during the 2017 drill program on the Waterpump include:

  • Intersection of 13.88 g/t gold over 7.5 m in DDH-17-M0N-38.
  • Intersection of 10.41 g/t gold over 22.87 m in DDH-17-M0N-40.
  • Intersection of 7.21 g/t gold over 7.16 m in DDH-17-M0N-41.

Drilling will also be conducted at depth below DDH-2009-11 which intersected 12.65 m of 5.14 g/t gold. No follow-up drilling has been conducted in this area due to the difficult terrain. The Company plans to create a drill pad in an area that would allow for testing below this intersection.

Work has completed snow removal off the drill trails, evaluation of avalanche danger and mobilization of drill equipment. Drilling early at the Waterpump zone removes the necessity for stringing 2 km of water-line over a great height for the drill as snow melt will provide the water necessary for drilling.

The Company is also completing a geological model at present that shows the area of intrusive along with the different types of mineralization to aid in possible resource calculations. All drill log data is being reviewed to unitize all previous logging.
